What is future-oriented therapy?
Future-oriented therapy starts from the principle of free will and the power of the now. We transform old beliefs and embed a new positive foundation to create the future. Yes, you are worth it! And you have the power to change things.
When you are afraid of the future. You find yourself making up one disaster scenario after another. You have a dream, but you cannot bring yourself to take steps to make it come true. Something is holding you back. Or when you want more. You ask yourself "is this all?" Surely life is more than this. But you don't see how it can be different. You don't know what you want or you are afraid to dream. Then future-oriented therapy can help you on your way.
What is a session like?
The session starts with going over assignments you prepared at home. This is followed by a discussion of a new method or a step-by-step plan. Through coaching and writing exercises, you learn to clearly express who you are and what makes you really happy. After the session, you will be given new assignments to complete at home.
